Air Conditioning Cassette with Dehumidification

The 'Sarara' dehumidification system from Daikin reduces indoor humidity without affecting the room temperature, by mixing dry cool air with warm air to produce comfortable dry air. When the weather is rainy or on summer nights, using an air conditioner’s normal cooling and dehumidifying function can end up making the air uncomfortably chilly. Sarara drying operation (dehumidifying with reheating) uses waste heat from the outdoor unit to warm the cold dehumidified air, and then sends it into the room at precisely the right temperature.

Dehumidified Air Feels Cooler

effect of dehumidified airLower humidity creates comfortable dryness, even at a constant temperature. Decreasing the relative humidity will increase your feeling of comfort by improving the ability of your body to lose heat through it's natural mechanism, 'evaporative cooling'; even while maintaining the same room temperature.

This feature prevents overcooling, which is especially good for people who are sensitive to cold. Overcooling occurs in humid environments when people set the desired temperature below the usual 'comfort zone' because they do not feel cool enough.

Note: Dehumidification operations can only be used under specific indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity conditions & the system is available on a limited number of models.
