The Unico 11 HP is a self-contained unit with no external condenser or pipe work, which provides both cooling and heating, and operates from a standard 13 amp power supply. The decision to appoint Rapid was taken because they could supply and install the Unico cost-effectively and planned installation around the needs of the hotel. While a traditional installed system was an option, hotel General Manager, Mr Paul Ferguson favoured the Unico due to the speed and convenience of installation and the fact that they are an economical and versatile ‘all-in-one’ Climate Control Solution.

The units are installed independently in each room without the need to refurbish, so there was no detrimental effect on room occupancy and minimal disruption to guests and staff at the hotel. Paul Ferguson is delighted with the feedback he has received from guests.

We appointed Rapid to supply and install Unico 11 HP air conditioners in 64 bedrooms and a further 6 in our syndicate conference rooms, to provide complete climate control in these areas.
