The stunning Barratt apartment complex at Barrier Point, adjacent to the equally dramatic Thames Barrier in London, is a clever blend of futuristic design and interior quality aimed at discerning purchasers who expect every modern convenience. To To see the distinctive stepped design of the seven uniform towers - culminating in the elegant, riverside 165 ft main tower - is to understand that Barratt’s Barrier Point sets new standards for overall specification and Rapid’s air conditioning expertise equally looks set to become a standard feature of the future, this is especially the case given that Rapid Air Conditioning can supply and install virtually any major brand equipment, and within Barrier Point a combination of Daikin and Toshiba systems will ensure continual and reliable air quality throughout the year. The Daikin Flush Ceiling Units benefit from a convenient modular concept and self diagnostic monitoring, whilst the Toshiba Floor-Standing Chassis Units offer a streamlined profile easily concealed within cases designed to match the décor of the appropriate room. In turn, Barratt East London’s technical arm was impressed by Rapid’s combination of a practical, hands-on approach throughout the project, plus completion within a tight time schedule and the overall cost-effectiveness of the air conditioning installation.
